Habitat for Humanity Miami and the Wynwood Art District @ 36 Street

Habitat for Humanity Miami and the Miami Wynwood Art District @ 36 Street will come together for a two-part event in which the arts, design and architecture will combine to create Art, Design and Architecture for Habitat for Humanity (A.D.A.H.H.). Their mission is to emphasize the importance of donating, recycling and reclaiming items for a new and ecological way people can create homes.

The concept: participating galleries from the Miami Wynwood Art District @ 36th Street such as Abba Fine Art, Art Rouge Gallery, ChiAlma, Harcore Gallery, Milou Gallery, Urban Icons Studio and Independent Visual Art Gallery will exhibit fresh design pieces cultivated from items recycled and donated by Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Designers will choose a celebrity of their choice to inspire each exhibit. A complete list of the galleries and their chosen inspirational celebrities will be announced on November 17th.

The first part of the Miami event is the opening reception on November 20th, from 8PM-11PM. Here, participants will be introduced and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore items to be used for the exhibits will be selected.

The second part of the Miami event is the unveiling of Art “Bagel” Brunch, which will be held on December 7th, from 10AM-1PM. On this day of the event, participating galleries will finally display the finalized exhibits, which will be available for sale.

Proceeds from this Miami event will benefit Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
